Nick Cribb is president of SAM Service, Inc., an 80+ employee commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration & HVAC company based in Georgia. He is also the current president of CFESA. Nick shared, “I cut my professional teeth in the banking industry, where I learned the power of superior customer service and professionalism.” He has received numerous foodservice accolades, including the 2019 Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Top Achiever, Service Agent.

Nick shared insights into the service aspect of the foodservice industry, emphasizing the importance of working together, sustainability, and the need for skilled technicians. He highlighted initiatives to attract new talent through partnerships and education programs that prepare students for technical careers.

The conversation also covered the significance of preventative maintenance, with more than 50% of customers recognizing its importance for the longevity and efficiency of kitchen equipment. Discussions included:
