Introducing Cheryl Goode: Spearheading Innovation in Data Operations and Information Technology at MAFSI

Meet Cheryl Goode, Director of Data Operations and Information Technology

As MAFSI continues to further its commitment to cutting-edge technology and data, we are delighted to announce that Cheryl Goode, has joined MAFSI as our Director of Data Operations and Information Technology. With a wealth of experience garnered during her tenure at MISBO, a non-profit association for private K-12 schools, Cheryl brings over 18 years of member data administration, IT project management, and association software solutions expertise to our MAFSI team. In her new role, Cheryl will galvanize our current technology efforts, while strategizing new initiatives to further our association as a thought-leader in the tech space within the commercial foodservice industry. 

In this new role, Cheryl will spearhead our membership database, data, and new technology initiatives. Cheryl is a seasoned tech expert, and her association experience and knowledge of tech needs of members will continue to provide our members with the cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights you expect from MAFSI. Cheryl’s approach is not just about managing technology; it’s about understanding the unique needs of MAFSI’s members and seamlessly integrating innovative solutions into the association’s framework. Her role will provide MAFSI not just technical skill but also the rare skill of translating intricate technical details into a language that resonates with members, staff, and the board of directors/committees, despite their technical backgrounds.

With a strong background in association technology, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), system implementation, and maintenance, Cheryl is well-versed in technology integrations, including the use of APIs. Her skill extends to managing various tools integral to MAFSI’s Tech Stack systems, such as Novi, HubSpot, LearnUpon LMS, CVENT, and MAFSI’s proprietary software program, SpecPath. As MAFSI strides into the future, Cheryl’s role becomes pivotal, making sure technology isn’t just a tool but a driving force behind the association’s growth and success. With her at the helm, MAFSI’s tech landscape is in capable hands, ready to innovate, integrate, and inspire.
