MAFSI - Coming this Fall to a Region Near You!
Summer has ended, Fall is upon us, and we are excited to announce that over the next 60 days, MAFSI is holding in-person local meetings (with a virtual option) in all our MAFSI Regions.
This past week marked the first regional meeting at 4 Star Reps in MAFSI Region 04 – Keystone, and it was well attended in person and virtually. It was great to be together in one room and to share the pride of being a MAFSI Member with our local rep, manufacturer and associate colleagues and prospective members.
When I started my role as President a year and a half ago, lack of communication was the overwhelming comment I heard from members, and I pledged to communicate better. I know we have done that but now we are taking it up a notch, having scheduled these regional meetings in every MAFSI territory. These meetings are meant for all current rep firm, manufacturer and associate members as well as prospects from these three segments.
Having completed the first of many I can honestly say no one will leave the meeting saying, “What can MAFSI do for me?” Until my first board meeting in San Francisco, years ago, I asked the same question but after attending I realized how much more MAFSI had to offer. So, if you are a member I urge you to seek out the last non-member that asked that same question and get them to your local meeting!
Also, we encourage everyone in your company to attend! Please invite any of your office staff to register for this meeting. Exposing them to MAFSI will not only benefit your company but also expand what we are already working towards; professionalism among reps and manufacturers and the networking of ideas towards one common goal. Registration for these meetings is free.
MAFSI is the only association dedicated to supporting your career function and sales and marketing role. We can’t wait to tell you everything we're working on to make you and your company more successful and profitable leading to The NAFEM Show next February in Atlanta and throughout 2025.
On Monday the 9th I will attend Region 17’s meeting in Chicago, so to my friends in Chicago like Rich Packer (Past NAFEM President), Mitch Cohen from Middleby Brands and Carl Boutilier, P B & J, MAFSI Board Member and co-presenter - see you soon!
The meeting will cover everything from our educational platforms to a hot topic always asked about, the MAFSI Code of Ethics.
